Concrete Coating Installation Process
How do we work with concrete flooring?
Preparation
Prepare the concrete substrate by diamond grinding or shot blasting the surface to remove any contaminants and open the pores of the concrete for proper adhesion. All our grinding equipment connects into industrial HEPA vacuums making the grinding process a 95% dust free environment.
Repair
Repair cracks, spalling, and divots using our industrial grade Polyurea mender which rapidly cures within 15-20 mins to a 4,400 PSI strength (harder than most concrete).
Filling Joints
Optional item: Filling in control joints using a semi-rigid Polyurea joint filler to create a seamless floor coating while maintaining active joint movement between multiple slabs of concrete.
Installing Resin
Optional item: Installing a resin based 4” integral base coving around the perimeter of the room creating a watertight basin which seamlessly transitions from the floor up the wall.
Installation
Installation of your selected coating system. We offer multiple types of coating systems which range from 3 part, 4 part and 5 part systems. Using various Epoxies, Polyaspartic, Polyurea and Urethane Materials based on your specific project needs.
